My guess is you do not know anyone who makes products here in the USA. Maybe you should have an in depth conversation with your preferred vendors to get the real truth. Where do the circuit boards and components come from????

All of those components in American Made products come from Asia: China, Vietnam, India.

Billy, since this thread started, 2 of the mentioned companies have closed. and 1 new one has opened. the new one hasn't said whether they will carry
the newest charger option.....wait for it...........THE GROUNDSTRAP!!

all the cheap Chinese junk chargers work for some length of time, just not a long time. By design they are not built with longevity in mind because most Americans will buy junk over and over again rather than spend the coin on the good if not great American made product that will last a very long time. You could buy 8 of your $60 chargers and still be money ahead of 1 Interacter R/T charger.

El Douche aka imakehp aka Dave Kemblowski from DRR is a pathetic old man that ain't ever done shyt on the track and no longer races, he had a reputation of being a hack with 1 reviewer referring to him as a "churlish slob" when he owned The Balance Shop in Cali and his only reason for posting on Class Racer is to bait me while he attempts to hide behind a computer screen, scared to own your comments. He's a self proclaimed billy badass that never got respect in the racing community and clearly was bullied in school with that last name and he logs in to bait me on notification from 1700camaro aka B KING from DRR aka Bryan King who too is only here to reply to my comments. I'm assuming you are talking about the Fall Fling. Why would I show up, there's a cap on race entrants of 425. Pretty sure that was filled some time ago. Plus, there's no class for Pro anyway.

While looking at the event entrants list, I didn't see your name listed. I did see your son's name; have fun being the cheerleader as usual! ;)

I started reading this thread because I will buy a new charger for next year at some point. It's amazing how the thread turned out to be nothing about chargers, but personal vendettas. And yes I did check to see if I was spelling it right! So now back to the beginning of the thread to read about battery chargers.

Spoke with a racer couple of weeks ago who purchased one of the $300+ battery chargers.
It took 3 to get one 1 that worked. Guess 3s a charm....

So much for outsourced components :rolleyes::rolleyes:
My Mexican assembled charger has worked with no issues :D

Self serving post in a failed attempt to justify your purchase of cheap chinese and mexican junk!

Claims an unidentified racer, purchased an unidentified $300+ battery charger that not only didn't work but it's replacement didn't work either.

Meanwhile, MY advice and comments to OP who specifically wants a charger made in the USA, are about Interactor R/T chargers which are nearly $500 of which I have owned 3,

Further they have charged our battery(s) between rounds on our way to a Divisional Championship, 2 Division Championship runner ups, 2 National event finals, a National event Win, Jegs Allstar, finishing #4 in the world, numerous, $5k, 10k and 20k Gambler race wins as well a $50k no split win and countless round wins. I sold one of the chargers to a friend years ago that had an immediate need and he still has it and loves it! I currently own 2, one for the Dragster which was retired from service on 6/10/23 due to swapping to a Lithium battery in the dragster and one for the Firebird and I expect they will continue to perform flawlessly indefinitely as these chargers have done for countless racers for DECADES, private labeled for Moroso!!!

Why would I mention names and manufacturers bringing those into this conversation who would rather not....:confused:

I stand by facts from others with actual experience, may differ from yours but still fact! No not giving names.


My "opinion" (no less valuable than yours) is rather than buying a $3-400 assembled in the USA battery charger with parts sourced globally will just buy a second assembled in Mexico as a spare and spend the difference elsewhere in my racing program.
Actually I carry 3 battery charges in my trailer for different reasons.



By the way mostly nobody cares this is just entertainment.

I don’t reply here looking for respect or to make a new friend, I have respect and friendship from many racers and manufactures throughout the country who tell me all the time they love my honestly and non bs replies. “You tell it like it is”

NOCO battery charger are the way to go. They are compact, won't overload, charge fast, has easy terminals to hook to your battery for an exterior port. Not a luncky box with a handle.
But hey, just throwing out other options.
