Good morning all, its 6:55 as I type. We had lots of rain last night but it does look good this morning as the sun starts to rise. They are working on the track, and you can hear the car rolling through the pits warming up. I'll post weather numbers later as this mornings numbers will change pretty fast when the sun is out. We are supposed to start at 8 with Stock, but who knows how much work the track will need from last nights rain.

I'm a little late this morning but I've been trying since 9:30 to get on NHRAtv and the site will not even load. Kind of weird it's on my phone but I've never had a problem before.

Well first round of qualifying is done. When you see us on the bottom as a DNQ it was for not having the window net up. The starter radioed the end of the track and that was that. Our-1.04 run will not count. We get another chance in a little bit. No sheets are up yet.Jim Marshall in the Cowboy Cadillac is sitting on the top at -2.30 under.Hopefully that holds up for #1

Nothing on Drag Race Central....maybe the state of the art NHRA tower has no internet?

First of all congratulations to Jim and Pam on being on top on day one. C 1 counts as as a Q run so we could have some surprises.
Chris was a little generous on how far under we went in 2014. I went 2.452 under in round one after tear down.

It?s very difficult to have a smaller engine and beat a bigger engine.

It?s Class day we got a text saying they will call us up this morning A-D including FS cars.

I think there will be some live streaming of Sportsman racing on YouTube and other channels during the race. I have not seen anything about free streaming on NHRA.TV but it might be available during the times it is on YouTube. You might have to poke around on NHRA.TV to find it.

He is doing fine.

He only had 4 grading points and was hoping to get a spot but that never happened.

He is planning on attending the Indy fall race.
