I think the racers still left in Stock are lobbying D2 to finish at Charlotte now instead of Richmond. TBD

GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- Due to weather delays the Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series categories and Factory Stock Showdown were postpone at the 56th Amalie Motor Oil NHRA Gatornationals. The categories will finish their Gatornationals at a various different National events.

Here is a list of where this race will be completed:
Top Alcohol Dragster - ?
Top Alcohol Funny Car - Charlotte 1
Comp - Charlotte - Running full eliminations
Super Stock - Norwalk
Stock - Richmond
Super Comp - Bristol
Super Gas - Bristol
Top Dragster - Bristol
Top Sportsman - Bristol
FSS - Chicago

Just my opinion but don't see why Comp through Top Sportsman can't finish at Belle Rose this weekend ?

Just curious. Was weather concerns the primary reason not to finish the race on Monday??

I assume so. The weather on Monday was predicted to have quite a bit of rain. I am on a job about 100 miles south of Gainesville and it rained all morning here on Monday.
Belle Rose starts tomorrow so they had to have time for the racers to travel there and get parked today. That became a factor as well.

I spoke with the Senior Vice President of VP Racing Fuels. They are the official fuel of NHRA once again and paying more than just fuel contingency now.
