Re: Original hemi dart information
Liteweight,
How about a list of the people you have talked too and the L023 cars you thought it might be in your cross country travels...maybe next year is the year it all falls into place, don't forget to make your new years resolution. |

A list who's it isn't and a list of who's it might be would help narrow the search pattern for that "ONE" clue you are looking for. Happy and Safe New Year everyone. |

Re: Original hemi dart information
Daryl,
Rufus 'Brooklyn Heavy' Boyd In 1970, the car was running in Pro/Stock. By the end of the year, 'Brooklyn Heavy' put it up 'For Sale'. The car was prepped by Joe Jill of 'Speedwin Automotive'. I 'do not' believe this was the same car as the S & K Hemi Dart 'The Avenger' that 'The Mutt Brothers' owned. http://img106.imageshack.us/img106/5...spotlight2.jpg |
Re: Original hemi dart information
I heard they bought this Barracuda from Sox & Martin, so whose was it originally or was it a new car built for them.

As a recap into the new year, I have had many good leads to follow up on, & even tho I still don't know whose car this was originally, I'm finding out whose it isn't. One car at a time. For me to list all the people I've had contact with in finding this unknown soldiers past would be almost unsurmountable. Let's put it this way, there's alot of them. Here's a ( partial????) list of MIA LO Darts not located/accounted for yet . If there's others, let me know. Mary Ann Foss OH SS/BA Go HummerII Manhatan Speed Shop SS/B Joe Patele (MA) Auto????? Bob Banning (VA) Stick????? Ken Bradley (TX) second THT Dart Stick???? Johnny Rivers (Mn) SS/BA Chuck McJury (NY) PlayMate II SS/BA ,but original stick car??? Pomona Speed Shop very little is known bout this car liteweight |

Paul
You have just thrown me a curve ball with the below post. I thought it would be the same car. If not, where did this one come from????.What leads you to think he had 2??. As you know "Heavy" usually bought high profile cars for his racing stable. liteweight Quote:
