OK - Let me be the first -- in spite of all the BS posted here and on other sites yesterday at Atco was the simply the best race of the season - period . Talk about your "Chamber of Commerce" weather - perfect doesn't really describe how nice it really was - and as far as the race is concerned - I can think of only two short downtimes for the entire day - one for an amount of oil put down by a Stocker ( and not a Alcohol car as expected ) and another to check out the track ( again by a Stocker ) . The amount of preparation that Joe Sway & Co. along with the NHRA staff led by Director Lang paid big dividends yesterday no doubt about it -- and if you have a free moment send both of 'em an e-mail and let them know you noticed .

This reporter came away from the race fully satisfied that he went ( even if it was without a car but that's another story ) - and as you can probably tell i'm glad I did .
