I don't believe the car was at the Hemi Challenge this year, unless it has been sold and refinished.

The Barracuda mentioned that Anthony Rhodes owns and Stephen Yantus drives was at the US Nationals. They brought two cars. They had purchased the Kandy Kuda from Bucky Hess in October 2017 and were racing it in the Dodge Hemi Challenge.

That black/turquois/white Barracuda was in the upper level of their tall trailer on Wednesday and Thursday. On Friday it was out in the sunshine for all to see. White shoe polish on the windshield indicated that the car was available for sale.

This 68 just popped up on RacingJunk, seller said its been stored for 10 years.

I am sure there are others but this is about the only photo I have seen of the Joe Smith Barracuda. Fenner Tubbs not on this car.

As most know the Drag Hag Cuda above was owned and driven by Harold Dutton. His one year away from Ford. Think he was the Div ll SS champ the year before. Harold lives about 10 miles from me. A buddy and I stopped in to see Harold a few months ago. He can't drive now due to a reaction to a med that hurt his vision. Needs a chauffeur He gets around ok and is still mean as ever. Still can't complete a sentence without a cuss word. Mentally seems fine. Need to stop by again.

Someone today ask me if I remember a BO29 Cuda back in the day with the name of GREEN BACKS. He said it had ran at 75/80 in Maryland. Also must have been1968 or early 69 as said to have been running as a SS/B. Not sure if stick or auto. as I cannot recall the car. Any info out there?

You seem to have a vast collection and knowledge of these cars! I am trying to create a photo album of all original darts and cudas. Thanks for keeping the alive!
I have been collecting photos fopr awhile now and have learned alot from here and the web. Sometimes hard to sort out fact from fiction. You guys seem to try to set everyone straight!

Jerry who has owned many Hemi cars once told me that he owned that car on two different occasions, it was a long time ago and my memory may be flawed.

The car was bought new by , then went to Bud & Dewey Cook, then Daily and finally Pancake.
