The ZL-1 is the reason we originally asked for a 7.0# class, and not a 7.5# class. The L-88 Corvette racers wanted a 7.0# class as well.

Odds are, since the ZL-1 was allowed in A/SA when it was put back in the guide, if it does get hit, NHRA will simply allow enough weight to be added to make it legal weight in AA/S or AA/SA.

Hypothetically, I can't help but wonder what happens if that combo happens to get hit. Will NHRA do something to allow it in Stock? I know that, technically, it should be SS only at that point.

Exactly Jared. One hit and its 6.90 something.... Makes a lot of purchased parts worthless.

Basically, its these slow guys loss. They don't get to find out how much time and how many broken parts it takes to go that fast.

No doubt? Chuck works hard to master the combination. Always has.

AA/S Shows up as 10.60 in Brainerd. Has it been incorrect anywhere else?
