If Tru-Start were in effect in 2016 Brad Burton would be world champ in stock eliminator. Jeff Strickland would not have won Bristol.

We can look at a lot of numbers and second guess the outcome of many events. Bob Gullett wouldn't have won the World Finals either, Jody Lang would have been in the final.

I've got a good question - - - How many of all the runs made in competition, for Stock and Super Stock competitors, would have been decided differently by Tru-Start???? I am guessing less than 1/10th of 1%.

If your 1% number is correct that would be a little over 1 race decided by TruStart in every 128 car field......

Good point Bob. In fact I meant to say less than 1/10th of 1%. If you look I have edited my post to say just that. Thanks Bob.

The races run on TruSTART so far have shown that a little OVER 1% of the race results are different than they would be on a traditional timing system.

How can anyone say that the faster car didn't see the slower cars red light?

I know I see it, same as a bye-run. I want the entire tree blocked from first amber to red light so I am not distracted by anything. I can look at the scoreboards to see if someone went red without the tree showing me........

If they are dialed within a bulb of each-other then the first red light should not affect the faster car. More than a bulb then all bets are off.
