So the story goes Stevie wrote that for Jeff Beck, after Beck played on his Talking Book album in 1972. Stevie liked to play all the instruments himself, but worked with guitarists. Once record executives heard Stevie`s version, they knew it would be a hit, and told him to hang on to it! Beck released it with BBA at some point.

Stevie Wonder also wrote a couple of other songs for Jeff Beck ."Thelonius" and this one, "Cause We`ve Ended as Lovers". Both appeared on "Blow by Blow", for some, his best work.

Instrumental for two for Tuesday .. Both these are off the same album.. In the Crowd Chat, Joe invited friends, girlfriends, wives, crew, other bands members ect. to the recording studio. He asked them to shout... or whatever the heck they wanted during the recording and it would be "Their Song". I can only imagine how much fun they had during this recording .. Had to be a blast! Turned out pretty cool.. This song is commonly played in between sets and plays at hockey..football, games through the PA systems
