Measuring wheelbase has always been a standard item in a certification teardown.

Dwight is correct. There is a place on the cert. card for those measurements.

I know ours and have measured it - although without proper equipment it is imprecise.
Can one of you fine gentlemen point me to the NHRA specification location.
No sense leaving it to chance or run the risk of my information being different than that of NHRA.

It's kind of scattered around the Stock Car Classification Sheet and not well marked. On the Ford 1968 it just says "Mustang 108..." along with a bunch of other data. On other vehicles along the left column at the bottom of each section it will say "wb (108)". Not clearly marked. I already knew from research that my wheelbase was 108. Cougar isn't indicated and you have to know that the Mustang and Cougar are built off the same chassis for that year.

EDIT: A 2015 Camaro should be 112 inches. This particular car is FSS/C and I assume came 4 linked from the factory and the NHRA spec is for street equipment (I assume). Maybe they should measure all the FSS 2015 Camaros? The Chevy techs could have it off 3/8 in assembly.

Embarrassed and Upset, S.Bell

Truly sad that an upstanding first rate gentlemen spends the kind of money and time to let someone else's failures/unkowing put him in this position. Mr. Bell, I look forward to seeing you at our next race. Impressive Indy you had sir!
