I've followed this Drooze saga and offer not comment there but Mack lending his motor is a fantastic example of why we enjoy this sport so much, despite it's 'warts'. Way to go Mack, UDAMAN! Apparently a real optimist too.

Less than an hour to get in I see it is down to 79 anybody with a grade point can get in. I am not going (jonesing real bad to race) but a couple of buddys headed out today form 60 degree and sunny in Seattle.

Thats funnier than you know I just flew on one of his lear jets to Cincy at the beggining of Jan, when I showed up at the airport and we went to the damm. whatever you call it, not the terminal but where private flights are, my brain is mush, there it was Kalitta Air on the lear......

Unfortunatley it wasnt the kinda trip Ida liked it was when my son had to be flown down to the hospital in Cincy, Charter thats it....duh....but my son who runs Jrs and my Mom knew Shirley Muldowney, well Kalitta isnt talked about nice round here. So even my sons view was "I hope his airplanes are better than his cars" after a quote he read from Muldowney saying what a hack Kallitta was.....He said, maybe we should check the turbines for duct tape :)

I thought, GREAT my son is being lifeflighted and hes worried about the plane....poor kid like he needs one more thing to worry about.
