Anybody traveling between Las Vegas and Phoenix Az, there is a real nice 68 V8 Falcon sitting in Wickenburg along the east side of 93. I have been going to stop and see it is for sale, but as usually always running late

There is a large sign on that car that says "THIS CAR IS NOT FOR SALE!"

As a 64 it would have to run with a 260/2bbl. NHRA at 164hp,IHRA at 145hp. Might be decent at 145 horse. As a 65 would have to be 289/ 2bbl at 200 hp. Way over rated.
For what its worth , NHRA has derated the 71 302/2bbl Maverick from 210hp to 165hp after a written request. Might be worth a shot requesting a derate to 157 for the 289.

'64-'65 Falcon's were not available with the 289/271hp but I read that the combo was avail in Canada but not made in significent numbers.
