They are a "stock" as the new Mustangs and Challengers.

Re: SS/B is getting more interesting
plan to make old cars obsolete: Allow NEW cars at rediculous factor and act as if doesnt matter. Allow the frustration for the racers to affect ALL classes as the racers DO care about the fairness of factoring and the disregard for their fellow competitors.
A plan which has been in affect for MANY years... just more obvious when the New cars arrived. |
Re: SS/B is getting more interesting
At least IHRA has F I classes seperate . And a seperate class for the NEW Mopars and Fords. May be the only way we will see the older cars compete in the future.

Re: SS/B is getting more interesting
Starting to think Indy might be the place to be more than ever if your interested in S/SS. You may see the future unfold or the roof cave in depending on what side of the fence your on. Just think of all the DP and CJ cars that have not , lets say, come out of the closet yet. ----------------------------Oh yea, we loved the idea of no grade points for Indy so we decided, since the car counts have been low ---All DP & CJ can now enter. This is a JOKE --do not take this seriously !

Re: SS/B is getting more interesting
Steven, Roy Hill ran 158, when he qualified 1 at Cecil County. Roy was heavy on the scales also, so what do you think they can run at minimum weight if they had to.
