Re: Live from the Las Vegas LODRS
Thx for the info.
That would be 1 race i would love to race at. Entry fee for a National meet is $210. anyway. I'm guessing this is a one day deal too. Awesome. |
Re: Live from the Las Vegas LODRS
Those of you expecting to see qualifying results early tomorrow morning will have to wait a little bit. This is what the schedule looks like: Top Dragster is supposed to make their second qualifier at 5PM. Stock makes their first qualifying pass right before them.
On the Division 7 website it said Stock and Super Stock would only get one qualifying run on Friday. Well, we will get two hits tomorrow. There wasn't a schedule up for Saturday yet, but I imagine we will get another late qualifying pass before first round Saturday night. So here's the Friday schedule: Stock Q1 then Top Dragster at 5PM, then Comp, Top Sportsman, Motorcycle, Super Stock Q1, Stock Q2 and Super Stock Q2. As others have pointed out there were 49 cars entered in the combo at $300 + $40 for the tech card. I didn't enter because I didn't think there would be that many entries. I figured for $300 there would only be about 10-15 cars. Boy was I wrong. When I heard how many cars were making the second time run I knew I should have entered. Oh well, I will enter if they have another combo next year. The S/SS Combo was the highest paying class also. I think Super Comp paid $6700 and Super Gas paid $6200 or somewhere around there. -Toby |
Re: Live from the Las Vegas LODRS
Well, Stock finally got to make their first time run. I had the pleasure of racing along side former world champ Keith Lynch in the infamous "Droozemobile." He's entered in B/SA, but he told me after the run that he's about 50 pounds heavy for C/SA. He said they have taken about all the weight out of it as they can.
I thought maybe some of you might be interested in the incremental times. The B/SA index is 11.53: Code:
60 ... 1.384 I also got a few shots of the Stockers before the run. I'll post them when I get a chance. -Toby |
Re: Live from the Las Vegas LODRS
Well, he ran 1.211 under the B/SA index and the C/SA index is .15 slower so that would make it 1.361 under the C/SA index.

Re: Live from the Las Vegas LODRS
Check my math but if they add 20 HP the car would run B/SA at the same weight (if verbal report is accurate) and be a very fast car
I can't wait to get mine - LOL (well not just like his) :-) peace |
