I'd say Harry didn't WANT the job, just like Wesley wouldn't want it. Even if he got the job, they wouldn't let him actually do the job. Funny, Harry came to our pits at Reynolds, but the new "director" never bothered.

Yeah Harrys a cool guy pb one of my favorites, so is Wesley. Jim Collins is alright in my book too!I have never had any pbs with any tech director.I used to call Curt Lashure when i built my car the div 1 director he was very helpful , Holt was no help. Harry he's so funny i showed up at Atlanta hadnt raced in years with a Snell 85 he say what the F*** you gonna do with that .I was like whatcha talking about Willis. He says your helmet been out of date for awhile:)

no, but they stuck g'ville and no problem divisionals on to of each other (8 hrs between them, will hurt the car count at both). Then stuck the houston divisional on top of the Valdosta race. That won't hurt houston as bas as it will Valdosta (not many D2 guys go to Houston, but a fair number of the Louisiana cars come to D2 on a regular basis). Just piss poor planning.

That first Atco race in late march early april was a national open right?
So it would not be on the div schedule?

Absolutly no races in June in D1 ,

Look at the dates. YOu have Maple Grove at the end of May and the weekend after that is Englishtown national event. Then there are three weeks off, and then Lebanon Valley.

A few weeks ago, people were complaining about the time off in July. Now there is a race at the end of July. People were complaining about the Atco race in October. Now there is no Atco race in October.

It is rare to have 2 lodrs races at the same track, we have had 2 at atco for awhile, but I think that was because we don't go to a couple of tracks we use to go to.

For eight out of the past 10 years, Div 1 had 7 races. It had 7 races as recently as 2009.

Re: Division 1 schedule

Jim ,I realize that there are gaps for the D1 Nat events, but scheduling Epping on the same weekend as Columbus is totally inconsiderate of racers budgets.
Now to get eight races we need to travel considerably farther.
BTW , the way the weather has been in the Northeast the last two weekends,Atco in November would have a great choice!.
I'm not suprised that Atco has only one race next year.....Joe Sway has experianced a substantial loss of participation at the Fall race.....He could probably make more profit with a Bracket race on that date.
