I'm sorry, Billy, I couldn't help it! I met Ortiz! Raced him, too. Pretty sure he whipped me at both ends, but I may let him feed me later to sooth my hurt feeling. ;-). He's already got two grills and a sling psychrometer out. I think it helps in determining the perfect atmosphere for making jerky.

Weather for Stock Q1: 72.6deg, 31%, 29.95, 1060' DA, 6 mph cross-head

5.87 @ 240 for Sheldon Bissesar in T/D...

Running Q/R already, flying through things.

Saw Brenda Grubbs, Nick Folk, HyperTension, a purty C/CM Corvette, the C/S Mustang that was .000 first round last year. David Hunt is driving a white '68 Mustang as a hired gun. Bertozzi's up under the Camaro... Trans?

Just called Super Stock

It's a real shame that IHRA can't get anymore racer support than what I'm seeing on DRC. They are providing you a place to race, and maybe that can place just a little presure on the NHRA. I thought the folks on here bitchin about the way they get treated (by the NHRA) would take a stand. I guess it's not really that bad after all. I say thank you to the folks that made the trip...the ones that race just to race. They are keeping it alive, and I will be happy to join them again soon! I often hear the racers saying "support the manufactures that support racing" hell the racers won't even support the sanctioning body. I hope that I don't develope the "I'm to good for IHRA syndrome" when I come out. I know I never did when I was out before!

Michael,

I see on DRC that my buddy Anthony made qualifying passes in stock, superstock, topdragster. Is this a miss print or did they change the rules allowing to race more than two cars...if it is a rule change I need a bigger trailer.LOL

Misprint. Car #7 near the bottom of the sheet is John Boyer, not Anthony. Scotty's driving the Camaro. Boyer wiped a cam and will be heading home. Mayhew's having weird problems too. I told him he prolly put the cam in upside down. ;). Sittin on Boyer's cart listening to him and Mayhem argue about what could be wrong. Heard Gary Ranno will be here tomorrow.

Ortiz made wings tonight and we sampled all kinds of pepperoni and other delicacies. IHRA should pay him as a booked in show.

Don't forget that the IHRA is providing 1320go Live Timing on their website - www.ihra.com/livetiming.

You'll see not only who won but their reaction time, the incrementals, and the weather data at the time.

If you want, you can put a car number in one of the 4 race alert boxes near the bottom of the page. A dragster sound will alert you that the car you want to watch is coming up to the line.

It's free to watch as it happens - and it's only $19.95 to look at all the past runs for 12 months! That's less than a visit to the concession stand...

We try to offer a whole lot for just a few dollars. Take a look!

Thanks,

Kay

Great value! And it works! Jim

I agree with what Wade said, and since Jim Wahl seconded his motion, I will have to third it. I realize NHRA is the gold standard for stock & S/S, but they're (IHRA) giving you a place to race like cars (stock & super stock). Take advantatge of it before they go away. Then, the other guys will really have you by the tail.
