Both organizations have reduced teardowns, it appears. They are no fun for the teardownee for sure. But without the threat I fear that we will become just another bracket class. When teardowns are conducted after an absence, they usually find some rules infractions. Light pistons, light rods, etc.
Someone mentioned filing a protest, the fees imposed are so high it discourages all but the most flagrant situtations from being exposed.
If everyone is comfortable with the current practice, then let's race on.
