This is the link to my car, if anyone knows it, it hasn't changed much since that picture. Took the lettering off and changed the wheels. The car in front to the right of my car is Rock Runnig's Pontiac. This is from 1974 Columbus, Ohio, National event. I think it was the Spring Nats at that time.

Hey Casey

Are those the decals that where magnetic? That car was fast in the late 70’s. I’ll bet it still looks the same today.

Here's a picture from the 70's. The driver must have been about 3 years old!

In 1985 the car was destroyed in a garage fire along with our father's 1969 Nova that ran SS/JA. I am getting some of the photos together that I will post in the next couple of days showing before and after the fire. It was a loss that still bothers us to this day when we think about it.

Did Jeff Taylor get the car back after it had burnt up? Dad stopped by Mr. Jeff and Mr. Charlie's shop in Lumberton not too long after the fire happened at your garage and saw a burnt '69 Camaro and wondered if it was it. Dad started out racing with that car. It had a 4 speed in it.

Dad wanted to know if yall have ever purchased a car from Dick Henry? He had another 69 Convertible.

Your dad is exactly right. My dad sent the car that was in the fire back to Jeff Taylor's shop to have the motor, transmission, and rear end removed, gone through, and installed in the '69 Camaro convertible he purchased "rolling" from Dick Henry for $5000 (the car was his wife's stocker) . We still have that car today. It sits in my dad's garage under a car cover and he won't even let us touch it! LOL. Your dad has a great memory!

Yes, they were magnetic, I remember being at Englishtown and I think Moeller turned them all upside down just before 1st round .

PS. I just went to PBIR June 18th with the car and won no box, only car with a 4 speed in the eliminator.
