Just got home a few minutes ago. What an awesome weekend. We had a total of 73 cars, of racers from eight different states, over the two days. 66 were on the grounds today, 63 ran first round. Both 73 and 63 are best ever totals for me. Larry Jewell won the big money ($2,100) in his tri-power SS/DA '67 Corvette. Runner-up, taking home a cool $1,000, was Larry 'Bunk' Miller, in his SS/FA single-4 '70 Barracuda. I had hoped to have full round-by-round results tomorrow, as well as final points totals. However, after taking the winners circle pics with Larry and Larry, we left our clipboards there with all the stats. Hopefully Elmer can send them to me and I can post them soon.

Thanks to everyone who came out this weekend. Hope you had as much fun as we did!

LOL.....Good one Vic. Im heading out this morning (Mondays and Thursdays) on about a 200-250 mile Harley ride for lunch and Im about the youngest one of the bunch. I almost came up to Mason Dixon but theres to much going one here AND its warm and sunny. Taking my '35 Chev street rod coupe to several car shows and rod runs this month and the "Turkey Trots" at Daytona BUT.....I am still looking for another race car to play with to take up my down time. Cant seem to get into the nap routine like you guys in the frozen North. I sure hope Charley "BOB" was pulling everyones leg about the 1980 or newer cars only in NHRA stock for the sake of guys like you. Take care.

Mike, I'm glad you had a good turnout. These races are going to be a big part of the future in Stock and Super Stock racing.

Once again you folks got ditched last night as I took the Winners Circle photos and hit the road so I wouldn't get home in the middle of the night .As you already know Larry Jewell ( in his extra sharp Corvette SS/DA ) took home the big money last night with a well deserved win along with the RU Bunk Miller ( in his equally sano early Challenger SS/FA ) as both drove well all day .......Congrats to both ! ! !

One of these days the boss is going to doc me for posting Mondays...............Or maybe my Christmas bonus will be a little short - or God forbid late also.

Always wanted to visit but can't seem to find the time...maybe NEXT year? Looks like a great time to be had there!

BTW...does anybody know which track is more "downhill"...Mason-Dixon or Maple Grove?
