Is this the little brown pinto that's been around Div6 for awhile?
Hope you get in and kick some butt down there.

Not the same Pinto,,Phil. Rick's "little brown" car isn't a wagon like Neil's is.

No it is not the brown one. I bought a 1976 wagon from Roger Olsen out of Min.
This will be my first year in stock.

Neil, Good luck with the Pinto. We were the one's with the brown 74. We have retired it and have built a different car. Hopefully you will be coming to some of the divisional's. Stop by and chat.

Even tipped over the line by providing some runs data courtesy of Nitro Joe's stats (but always giving him a plug). Lately; however, it's become obvious that some racers are gaining 'alias' identities to stir the pot or otherwise abuse others or the forum in general. That is BS and to post on the forum with a suspect user name leaves the person open to suspicion. Seems to me if somebody wants to genuinely come on the board and ask for help they can at least provide a name and competition number. My 2 cents....

There is a section for members who use their real name and competition number. If no namers are such a problem for you, why don't you contain your activity to that section?

Lets face it, the reason this board continues to flourish is the fact that it's free and it's anonymous. Stirring the pot and controvercy only help the board recieve more daily hits and more views. All to the delight of the paying sponsors.

This board contains allot of great information. But even from it's humble beginning, when Willy Raymond's stories of NASA type electronics drew the first followers to Classracer, the board has always been open to using an alias. I would bet it will continue that way.

You don't need to look to far to see what charging a membership fee and real names do to a similar BB.

I have a feeling that the 1976 Pinto S/W in question spent a little time in D3, including a semi-final finish at STL in the late 1990's. Either that, or it is a new car that I havent seen yet. Either way, welcome to the wonderful world of Slow Cars in Stock Eliminator!

Thanks, Yes this is the wagon that belonged to Marty. I am looking forward to this year and I can't wait to be chased by the CJ's. Should be fun. I am going to try a A1 7" converter. Looking to pick up some ET. Talk to you later.
