Re: What has happened to the Pro Car Counts?
16 quality teams? 4 teams with 4 cars each. How thrilling has this whole "Pro" thing gotten?

Re: What has happened to the Pro Car Counts?
Bret,
Thanks for the clarification. But, I don't think shrinking the pro show will help nhra sell tickets. Ticket sales account for 27% of nhra revenue. Also, the length of the show directly effects the amount of time for souvenir shopping which roughly accounts for another 6 percent. As I said before I don't know anything about these guys but I do wonder if an "honest 16 teams" means competitive teams that can put on a good show? Ed, Where have you been? Have you been hang'n out over at Queens? |

Was another Bret (Fanning) right so many years ago? Single mag, no computers, etc. in an attempt to keep the cost down, or is it like NASCAR and there is no way to make Fuel racing -=cough!=- affordable? |

Mike,
The fuel cars will become alcohol cars before the implosion. Most the fans wouldn't know the difference. |
