Not intending to create thread drift, but when pulling up the Glidden video, there was an equally interesting "In their own words" piece from Bill Elliot.

When NASCAR went from the era of Junior Johnson to Jimmy Johnson, they pretty much lost me.

Im jw as im a huge Glidden Familly fan and got to meet him in 2010 at Charlotte(A HUGE highlight of my life) Does anyone have stories or anything at all from his Super Stock days??? I always read or hear tidbits of him running a 65 Galaxie for Ed Matrin Ford or his Cobra Jet Mustangs or his Ford Fairlane but im just interested in hearing about his days before Pro Stock. Thanks
