Suspected Cancer Agent: Yes X No This product contains small amount of titanium dioxide, which is listed by IARC as a suspected carcinogen (Group 2B). Titanium dioxide only presents a risk of cancer by inhalation of very fine dust. In this product, the titanium dioxide is incorporated into the grease and is not present as a respirable dust. There is no exposure to respirable titanium dioxide dust in the normal use of this product. I guess you should not burn titanium dioxide and breath the fumes! |

Re: What is the main ingredient of WD-40?
Don't care what it does or doesn't have in it.......it probably saved a thousand lives in Viet Nam. No telling how many soldiers died trying to clean their weapons in the middle of a fire fight.
The combination of the LSA oil and the constant rain would eventually cause a stoppage, the advent of WD-40 cured the problem. It saved lives and that was it's most important use. JimR |
