I didn't say it was cheap, only that it was a 42hp reduction in the Corvette or GTO.

hp should be the same in all cars with that combo unless it is a waggon or a stick.that is how it used to be.just saying!

1978 & 1978 350 malibu wagon got hp, twice, once with camaro & corvette and the next time with the camaro, but the corvette stayed the same, I don`t think there a malibu wagon that runs .50 under with 350. I would think the corvette, gto, firebird & camaro should all be the same hp. Tom

The 70's and 80's are over, a clutch car is not as a disadvantage as it once was. Your man Kevin should prove that. Just a lot of work, lol

That's stupid, a Corvette has no advantage over an 04 GTO? Or an earlier nova that would the same engine ?

I don't know if that is what they are saying, but it is what I would say. I have seen some drag coefficient studies comparing these firebirds to corvettes to 69 camaro's to older mustangs and until you got above 135mph you didnt see any advantage! I would think a Nova would be real close to this also??
