Re: Live from South Georgia !!!
We are here and parked. We are down in the south lot behind staging. Nice and dry, level and paved. It was dark before we got in, so I haven't seen anyone yet, but I talked to Jim Marshall. So he is here and he said Jim Roberts, Gary Russell, Dusty Lowell are all here.
We made the 600 mile trip just fine! But following the directions for the track that was on their website, getting off at Exit 32, they were working on the railroad tracks, so we had to turn around and go back to exit 37. So if you are coming from the North just get off at exit 37 and go east til you get to Highway 41 and go south. The track is on the right. Well it is our bedtime now, so more updates tomorrow. We are planning on running the test and tune from 12-6. More later |

Re: Live from South Georgia !!!
Well, we are on our way south. Thankfully, the snowstorm in Washington DC turned out to be a bust on the I 95 corridor, so it has been clear sailing so far. Driving through Richmond, VA now. Should be at the track by mid-day tomorrow.
Glad to be heading to warmer climates. See ya at the track! |

Good luck to you all, I will have to miss it. That 4 letter word, WORK, has gotten in the way again.

Re: Live from South Georgia !!!
We're almost to SGMP. Decided to hit the Blue Beacon truck wash in Brunswick, GA to get the rig cleaned up. Jack wouldn't want his clean Trans Am hanging around a dirty truck and trailer...

Re: Live from South Georgia !!!
Well it is a gorgeous day here at South Georgia! We are all teched in and waiting for them to call us up for test and tune.
It got down to about 34 last night and it supposed to be about that cold tonight. But today it is calling for mid 60's with bright blue skies. It is really good to get out of the cold! The parking is filling up but right now there is no wait to get in and get parked. Super stockers seen today: Brandon Wilkinson, Kenny Schindler, Jimmy Bridges, Jerry Silveus. More stockers: Dennis Breeden, Bruce Kerber, Dusty Lowell. I will try to get some pictures along the way today. More later! |
Re: Live from South Georgia !!!
