Danny, I think he did, but not sure, I will find out.
Here are so more random photos. I had another in car cam, but for some reason it did not record. I will try for two Super Stocks tomorrow and another stocker. Stock and Super Stock are done for the day. Super Gas, Comp and the top class's are left. Going out for dinner, if I get any more info our pics I will sure to post them later. |

As you can see from the first photo Jack had to be towed off the track. I talk to Jack tonight and he said he would be ready for the tomorrow's qualifying shot.
The rest of the photos were shot by a good friend, have more so stay tuned. |

Good morning - For many yesterday was what they wanted all season - great air and superb traction .Plenty of smiles all around the Stock/SS pits except for those bitten by breakage who include myself .Just ask JC Beatti whose ATI backed entry made a record setting pass of -1.25 to put him on the top of the heap with his Camaro COPO in S/S.Or Barry Parker who took his G/SA '74 Corvette to the top of the Stock leaderboard with a -1.04 run .Trust me they are happy going into today's final quaifier .Then later today its final elininations with another great racing day with the weather just perfect for both racers and fans .
As for me - well all I can do thank those who helped me yesterday - it was a hard fought parts battle in trying to get me back racing but after breaking a transmission ( see pics below ) but in the end I just couldn't come up with enough pieces to put the Flash Camaro back together even after two trips back to Pennsylvania yesterday .I'm not throwing in the towel just yet but it doesn't look good . Back a little later with this mornings action .............. |

Stock just finished up with the 3 qualifying run. The air was a about 4 to 5 slower than yesterday, with a 4-5 mph head wind.
Its still a great day to race with temps going up to the lower 80's. Here are some great actions shots that John DiBartolomeo from Drag Racing Action Magazine www.dragracingaction.com I am editing a very cool in car cam from Mike Letellier in his 2012 BB/SA COPO, it should be up soon. Jack did get down the track and made a very good pass, I believe he went a 9.61 in CC/SA. More later.... |
