Thanks for posting those shots, one thing that makes me REALLY nostalgic, is that I had attended (spectator) Indy in 1969, The stands were FULL during the sportsman classes!!

Who was the 1st Pro Stock E.T. record holder in NHRA ?

Jenkins set the 1st MPH [138.46], but didnt run below the 9:75 min.

In June of 70 NHRA changed it to 9:95

Motown Missle 9.94 7-1970

This is from 1970 INDY < but it could be from 70-90 ?

Jumping Jack in 1974 Summernationals, he won class at the 74 Summers & at INDY /Looks the same to me !
