All you need is a boiler and a radiant starting line!

Re: How fast could you go?
We were in Alaska for Christmas visiting the grandchildren and I checked the DA app on my phone (I do that too much when I'm not at the race track) and at one point I saw it was -5200'. I got a little sad that the race car was 4000 miles away ... and oh yeah, that it was -18 degrees with 2' of snow on the ground.

You can make a starting line hook with little problem. Downtrack is more of a challenge as it just doesn't maintain the heat and the groove can disappear. Piedmont has a track *heater*. https://scontent-b-ord.xx.fbcdn.net/...39281660_n.jpg |

Race IQ . I think it was about 10 dollars. It uses info from local airports to calculate DA |

I'll have to see if there is a DA app for an iPhone. Thanks guys!! |
Re: How fast could you go?
I have Race IQ for iphone. The DA calculator on it is fairly close. I mainly use it for logging runs, comparing runs, and helping to figure the dial in. I like it because you can compare any part of the runs. It breaks it down pretty well.

Thanks, unfortunately the Gators turned into just a test session for us, so we were all kind of in a bad mood that race as it's not how we wanted to start out the season. Usually we are all very approachable, so you definitely caught us at a bad time. :) |
