Over at Jimmy's last night for a delicious crawfish boil. The other man in the picture is Mr. Pat Joffrion's brother! Thank you to Bear and David Beudrou for peeling my crawfish for me last night. I was so slow, they thought I was going to starve to death. You know how undernourished I look! LOL

Here are some of the green eggs that we had for breakfast this morning along with some ham. Jimmy's grandchildren raised the chickens and now are selling fresh eggs! Yum, yum!

Last night we got some more e-bay beer just in case, we don't want to run low. We also purchased some local fresh eggs. The eggs were mixed in size and color, brown, white, and some that had a green tint to a white egg. So this morning we will skip bacon and eggs and dine on the world famous green eggs and ham. Rumor has it that the "Cat In The Hat" aka Jack Roush might be here this weekend to work on some local mustangs, but its only a rumor.

larry are there dry county's down there and beer can only
be found on e-bay? and hopefully choices exceed ice beer
,malt liquor, and not only in a 40 ounce container !

Yes, congrats to Mr. Navarre for winning the Combo last night and also to you, Brett, for winning super stock, then running it up in the Combo.

Today is another gorgeous day here in the deep South! Weather shows it going up to about 91, which beats the 96 from yesterday! Stock goes out in about a half hour. Everyone is showing getting 3 qualifying runs today, then eliminations tomorrow. Drag Race Central should be showing the results today.

More later

Location! Location! Location! We have the best pit spot ever thanks to Jimmy Hildalgo , Coty and Zeek. 30 amp power, water, and a place for blackwater looking at the 1/8 mile cone. All of that is great but now comes the good part! We are one spot down from the Garrison racing and cooking compound. They cook every day: pork, chicken, fish, sausage, green beans, crawfish ettafay, seafood balls and just a host of other great Cajun dishes. The smell alone will pick you up two tenths. Mr. Garrison cooks for everybody and everything is wonderful

Something interesting happened this morning during first round of qualifying! They had to stop for a couple of minutes to get the cottonmouth snake off the starting line. Evidently the snake had ridden up on someone's car and fell off when the car left the starting line! Now that's a first!!

It is still hot and humid here!
