I did not know it paid that much to qualify. Kind of reminds me of the "Start and Park" drivers on the Nascar circuit. They qualify, start the race and make one lap, then load the car into the transporter and head home. Some of those drivers make a decent living finishing # 42 or # 43 at those races. |

A 128 car qualified field is about the only part of a Performance Class that we have left. It's not T ball , everyone does not get a Participant Trophy. After all, the U S Nats is the Super Bowl of Stk/ Ss class racing. In the Stone Age, only Class Winners were allowed in the eliminator . M.J.
