It looks like we are way below the "nominal" inflation adjusted price of $2.62/gallon.

I paid $1.69 in Burke Va (right outside Washington DC.) over the weekend. I was surprised. Its still 1.81-1.89 here in southern IL. But if you go across the river to MO its been as low as 1.55.

As Technology Improves, and more efficient ways of production and transportation improve over the years......Prices hopefully will go down (Inflation
Adjusted) over the years on most Natural Resources.
Gas prices are still averaging around $2.50 to 2.70 here in Boulder City, NV.
Transporting costs are higher out West and the Additive packages are possibly more...................Who Knows?

In California, cheapest about $2.60's up to around the $3.30's

You Boulderites and Las Vegans are getting ripped off John.
I drove to Las Vegas a couple weeks ago , the highest price the whole trip was in Las Vegas area, once you are out in the middle of nowhere on the way up to Wells it was much cheaper, like 40 cents cheaper in Ely and certainly transportation costs there are more.

Paid a whole dollar cheaper than Vegas in Twin Falls Idaho. Even far north Washington was 40 cents cheaper than Vegas.
