Re: Roller Cams in Stock Eliminator?
Rules just make it more expensive, I have 2 new round lobe flat tappet cores being ground right now for my stocker....I could buy almost 10 8620 rollers for the price of those 2 cams, and 4 sets of roller lifters for the 1 set of flat tappets for the cams

Re: Roller Cams in Stock Eliminator?
I guess if you are looking for headers at a big box store, but why not make a set or have a set made? REF is in Arizona. Maybe they could make a set if you brought the car to them?

Re: Roller Cams in Stock Eliminator?
Never really understood why the spring pressure rule was overturned. It was easy to enforce on everything but a flathead. Wait were not running those anymore. It made you use your head and not just your pocketbook in several areas. Just my $.02

After all these aftermarket parts, NHRA considers flat tappets, albeit very non-stock ones, to be the sacred cow making the car "Stock". WOW |
