My former Chevelle... Original, OEM, factory body panels Original, OEM, factory bumpers Original, OEM, factory glass Original, OEM, full factory interior ALL DOT requirements fully functional...horn, wipers, parking brake, driving, braking, directional and backup lights. All factory options fully functional...power steering, power brakes, tilt wheel, tach/gauges, radio, rear window defogger, heater/defroster. Oh and the group 24 battery resides in the factory tray with the factory hold down, in the same location it rolled off the assemblyline Lastly registered, licensed, insured and saw thousands, upon thousands of street miles in addition to 5000 passes on the track when my name was on the title for 27 years. So what's your point? Back to the op's question... Quote:

My point for getting involved with this thread was to point out something.
If you are going to give advice to someone new, you probably ought to find out exactly what the poster intends to do with his car ,beforehand . That way, your advice will be more relevant to the topic. Of course ,a few just hear dog whistles, like 68 Chevelle, and have to post, no matter what. Here's Ed's old Chevelle ..Have you seen it before? Quote:
