My point is the weebie jeebie deal doesn't have flexible bushings of any sort, correct? Just heims.
That's not a street car in my book. No thanks.

I'm no Ed fan, but I have no problems with heims on the street. A late model front wheel drive metric V6 is not my idea of a stocker either, but to some it is........Ed gets his 60s and weight confused with Joey Abbazia's.

Actually I do like old racers, Kip Martin was a close friend of mine. For me stock racing is about matching wits with other racers in a known class, example: A through P stock. Now, racing a metric, front wheel drive car and setting some obscure record with it is fine, but its not for me. I can tell you this, I'd have no problem sitting down at lunch and talking drag racing with Mark. BTW I kinda like Ed Wright as well.

a street car doesn't mean it's a daily driver and the only books that counts here is the OP's.

No confusion about it, Abbezia's former chevelle didn't 60 foot 1.28 and it didn't weigh 3880 lbs. but my Chevelle did!:p

My point for getting involved with this thread was to point out something.
If you are going to give advice to someone new, you probably ought to find out exactly what the poster intends to do with his car ,beforehand . That way, your advice will be more relevant to the topic.

Of course ,a few just hear dog whistles, like 68 Chevelle, and have to post, no matter what.

Here's Ed's old Chevelle ..Have you seen it before?
