Use lucas break in oil and race oil.
Have switched them and broke them in to another cam,check the crown on the bottom of lifter if has .0012'' or more and smooth use again.

Mike how much seat pressure do you run? I take it that you check the crown after use before a new cam, if need be you get them resurfaced?

correct on reusing lifter and resurfacing.
230-240 on seat and 475 open.
