To make the min for the new GT/AA 6.0 class the motor will have to be rated at 416...
how much actual HP will it take to go an 8.50 ET or 1.20 under??????

8.50 @ 2500 lbs. has to be right around 785-800 hp.....

The indexes for FGT/A - FGT/J are still not correct on NHRA's site.

Well i must say I'm have a real hard time running GTEA. I built the car and combo bcuz I wanted to be a GTAA car. I've had lots of "obstack-els" so not sure what I want to do. MPR and BC RACE CARS did a beautiful job on the new car but I can't seem to get excited.

My bro said it's just my ego wanting to be top of the "heap" that I need to remember it's still just a "heap"... My response was "spoken like a true GTCA guy...

Stacey:
I agree I like GT/AA as most people like the class they have been in . I would like NHRA to call the new weight breaks a different name for the cars that run in those weight breaks . I will be contacting NHRA to see if they could change the name to???

Sometimes being at the top of the heap is costly . Some of these cars are going to require chassis work to get to the next level of Certification . GT needed a 6.0 lb class for a long time , now it will be interesting to see how many will take advantage of these new classes .
