Re: Nice Job, Lane!
What a fantastic job of driving. The man has no quit
i n him. Overcame numerous obstacles. Many would have loaded up and left. I knew as long as he was on the sheet would be a contender. Hopefully in the next H.P. revue combo gets some long overdue H.P. back. Should fall within NHRA AHFS guidlines. Brutally beat up combo from years / decades back when .50 under was well up the qualifying sheet. Last time a V/SA made a NHRA national final round ?? Lane Weber Denver 2001.. Hats off to Drew Skillman and congrats as well. Can't be easy waiting 7.1... I was on the starting line, Seemmed like Drew was on the 2 step prabably a bit earlier than he would have prefered. Congrats To Drew and Lane. Well done ! |

Re: Nice Job, Lane!
Congrats Lane! Impressive to say the least!!!
For you guys not too familiar with Mr Weber. He’s a Summit ET World Champion in Super Pro in ‘03. He won the D5 Stock Division Championship in the mid 90’s only going to 5 races. After losing 5 tenths to the index a few years back it was great to see Lane gettin it done at an NHRA race again. |
