But I'm still struggling with the concept that an official NHRA Wally could be granted for anything other than a certified NHRA Class or event win, at an official NHRA National or divisional event.

A Wally is intended to be almost sacred.

Kevin - This has been a thing since at least 2001.

Hello Al We were wondering what the NMCA index classes would be ? Do you have any information on them ? May have some interest in them. thanks Bob

Here's the Index deal in a nutshell:

1/4 second indexes from 8.5 to 13.0
5 tenths pro tree, handicap start.

I've done it and it's a lot of fun.

Do you pick the index and then you run off that, no dial in? For example all the 10.50 cars would run off of 10.50

Yes, you pick an index before the last qualifier and it doesn't change after that. In eliminations, all cars race together so there is usually a handicap start on the 5 tenths pro tree.

As I mentioned, it's a lot of fun!! I think I'll double enter and try my luck.

We had two of our local racers from Mitchell double entry last year and went to late rounds in both classes. They said it was a blast and are doing it again this year. They really enjoyed the pro tree. This is going to be a great weekend with a Stick Shift race and test and tune on Friday and 4000 dallors both Saturday and Sunday what's not to LIKE. Don't miss this great event plus don't forget about the Wally

Keep in mind there is also a NSS race both days-NMCA index's and rules 1/4 second index, full tree.

No April Fools joke here, there has been a lot of folks working on the 4th Annual Badger State Summer Classic for 2019 at the Rock!! Final details are in process but I figured a sneak peak for the Saturday and Sunday payout would be nice to see.

Thanks,
Scott Dugdale

We attended this event last year and had a great time.. lots of trees good track lots of great people.. One thing nice about this event we are the show not a lot of other classes to slow down the program, also the money , just look at the payout, why would you not go. Also don't forget the stick challenge on Friday I don't have a stick but am also help sponsor that race..
I hope to old friends and make some new ones this year.
