I noticed many of the older racers who have compromising health conditions were not there. I’m not sure if that’s why, but it’s a possibility. We’ll see how the turnout at L.V. Will be.

Jim posted this in Facebook.

“Unfortunately I heard yesterday no one was social distancing. So I decided to stay home. I guess I’m wrong and COVID is just a hoax!! Oh , to be young again.“

Respect Jim's decision; we all have personal responsibility to ourselves and family that far exceeds our desire to race.

Bigger news flash: Allison didn't win; whodathunkit.

Well, its not easy to beat Broadbent, he has taken out just about everyone over the decades.

It was nice to get back out again, for the first time since the fall, felt like April, except for the July like 90 plus temps. Haven't competed in anything since then, except against myself working out in the basement. No baseball, nothing.

Missed the truck with its wheelies, dragpak with its stick, and seeing a lot of familar faces, from the D1 staff, Epping staff, and the hardy D1 competitors who came to play.
