On the Z28 front I know for stock

The Wenzell's(sorry spelling likely incorrect) 67
Broadbents 69
Mcneish's Z(not sure what year it is)
Tim Barrets yellow 69

For superstock

Fletchers

Thanks

Eric

Jerry MacNeish's Z/28 is a 67. It was originally purchased by Ray Farrel, an old friend of Jerry's. I leaned on it in 73, and said "you don't see many of these". LOL!

My son Andrew’s car is a real 71 Z28. We race it as a 70.

And thats one nice fine race car! Real fast, nice color combo.

71's were rarer than the 70's, my first "real" car was a 70 Z28, with a M-22, loved the howl of that tranny. Fun nice driving car......decent at 120 plus......not so good in the rain.

If I could have bought a similar 67-9 Z it would have been 20K back in 1990, which I couldn't swing, IF I could even had found one, in my autohunter weekly. A fresh college grad makes the most of the situation.

Traded the Z28 for a 68 GTX 440 4speed and cash my way we used for my first wedding. Sold the 68 GTX back to its original owner when I needed dough for graduate school.

Miss the street cars, but not the tickets.

Not sure if it is still being raced but the late Peter Moran's '69 Camaro H/SA Indy winner was a real "Z". When it came to me for converting to a stocker it still had all the badging, tach, trim plate, etc. Another car that I'm not sure if it is still racing was a '69 Z"' car that I ran in SS/D back in the late seventies, Bobby Warren ran it for a while after that and the last I knew of it Harold Stout had it and it was painted in his usual livery, The late Sonny Ray ran it some as did David Rampy.

This is my Z/28, pretty much all original, the car is an original Baldwin Chevrolet Z/28 so I don't get too far from the way it came, so everything in the car works. The car has full exhaust along with the radio, heater, horn and windshield wipers that all work. The car is register and insured as a legal street car. I've own the car for just under 50 years now.

I have mentioned this before but I remember Casey racing that car at Dover Drag Strip in the early seventies. I love early (67-70) Z28 cars.

My Dad's old 66 L79 Nova is still being raced. My dad's cousin bought it new. My dad bought it from him when he turned 16 in '71. He drove it in high school and then started racing it in Stock and then Super Stock.

When he started his own business he didn't have time to race so my grandfather started racing it. He pulled out the 350hp engine to chance class and put in a powerglide. eventually he built a GT car with an 80's camaro and eventually sold the Nova since he wasn't using it at the time and didn't tell my dad about it.

It's now owned by Sean Gaffney who still races it.

Peter’s car was wrecked in a racing accident several years ago. Was quite the trick car, was always very fast and won many races.
