We may all hate stopping for fuel even more this year than last. How long do you think it will be before fuel is at least a dollar more a gallon? My State is proposing a thirty cent increase in State tax a gallon. BP

To clarify, STATE fuel taxes will be converted to VMT tax. In Calfifornia local sales taxes and tolls fund a major portion of project costs, state fuel taxes a bit less and federal taxes a relatively small portion of overall project funding. Very different than the mid west or south. No I don't think fuel taxes will go down, at best the will stay the same. |
