Re: GODSPEED Dan Dvorak
Dan was great guy and he always went out of his way to help. I recently purchased one of his windage screen kits and he spent a good deal of time with me on the phone explaining how to set it up. Years ago he helped me with some other issues I had with my car - probably talked for 2 hours. I never met him in person yet he treated me like a close friend. I remember on both occasions he would just start talking about other things like I was his next door neighbor - on the last occasion he was complaining about his ex-wife and some things she has done to him.
He will be missed. |

Re: GODSPEED Dan Dvorak
This is one part of getting older I never considered as a young man. Though it is part of life, it is painful to see your legends and heroes pass away.
Dan lived and breathed drag racing in the very best ways. When I was involved with the original Musclecar Nationals in the late 1980s, he was a huge help at our Gainesville event due to his advice and support. |
Re: GODSPEED Dan Dvorak
I am glad to have gotten to meet him at Gainesville back in the 90's.
