Re: After a heads up run
What I have observed at the US National’s. A racer had a flask, yes the kind a person puts liquor in, full of fuel that would check good and he passed and went to the next round.

Re: After a heads up run
Rich, as ANNOYING as Bubski is ,…he does speak the truth. Just like dummy batteries up front , gutted out alternators, the fuel sample that a racer submits in fuel check isn’t always the fuel that is run in the car. I remember the days when the tech man would siphon the fuel from the tank.

Re: After a heads up run
I too cover my cup going to fuel check because I saw other people doing it and I didn't want to be left out so there's actually a purpose to it? Lmao
I thought it was to keep from spilling it on my pants! |
Re: After a heads up run
The same reason I do it.

[QUOTE=bubski;668154]Bubski regrets that some find him annoying !! However Bubski does only speak the truth and many are offended by it !! Bubski speaks in the 3rd person to show empathy and to distance himself from the shenanigans of the WOKE crowd !! Bubski does not agree with the Tom foolery goin on in CLASS RACING !! Anyone can call a fuel supplier especially a one who's name is an acronym and buy whatever you desire !! Maybe the onion smell will give you away !! Probably not !! Its ludicrous to think a racer with several hundred grand at the track would be so cheap to have a "bracket fuel" and a "heads up fuel" What could you possibly do with the 20$$ you saved ?? Bubski would also like to inform the Woke that pattern recognition is vital to success !! Intelligence is not knowing everything about one topic !! Its about recognizing patterns of the fast and winners !! And understanding what those people are up to as you exhaust every option at your disposal to be successful yourself !! Cheers !! Bubski would like to again thank CLASS RACER for being an open forum!![/QUOTE

bubski may be an *** but if you guys think that some aren't playing with fuel you are naive. The Pro Stockers weren't the only ones that got caught with nitous. Anyone remember the Super Stocker that got caught with it in his fire extinguisher? Blew his hatch back off. How many remember one of the fuel companies that sold an additive right at the track that would pass fuel check. 007 BP |
Re: After a heads up run
Bubski revered? OMG! Good for him.

Frank, Bubski should do a big reveal and let us know who he is. Talk normal stop acting like and ***. Maybe his post would get some respect. He has had some valid points. Not all but some. A few years back I had two brothers now retired from stock tell me they used a company in NJ that blended fuel that was better than VP and would pass off as VP. They each had their own car. They seemed to disappear from the stock scene. At Indy one year one of their cars was picked for the barn. To their surprise they asked for a piston and rod. One of the brothers told me they were not going to pass. I laughed to myself because I already knew that. His car sounded more like a comp car in the water box. Without saying their names he had a gorgeous corvette. Indy this year if you had a dry ice stand you could have made a bunch of money. I saw more dry ice going into fuel cells than I have ever seen there. BP |
