Sounds like fun, count me in...

Re: Pinks Slug Out
If you all are able to pull that off, then I'll be your biggest fan from the southwest! Next I'll wish I had the funds to bring my DF/S'er out there to enjoy the fun and meet some new cool racers from the eastern half of our great country! Finally, I'll hope that they'll make such an event out west and stage it somewhere between Denver, Co. (Bandimere Speedway), and Las Vegas, Nv. (LVMS)?
Make sure you announce the air dates down the road ok guys? I don't want to miss that show!!! |
Re: Pinks Slug Out
Sorry, I already posted my thoughts below...

Re: Pinks Slug Out
Hey Ed
I can run the car at 180 all day long count me in. Your right Ken I will have to get the tree out. Art hope you get better soon. Dennis |
Re: Pinks Slug Out
I might be interested if the date and location are right. Hopefully it would include Q/SA.
How would they run this whole deal? Handicapped off the index? Spotting car lengths? |
Re: Pinks Slug Out
Whoa, I just got my head out of the snowbank....and if you know me you get an idea of how deep the cursed stuff is!!
I could be convinced to bring another slow Ford to the party. |
Re: Pinks Slug Out
Would my FWD Neon Superstocker be allowed to run? I have no clue about the heat but maybe just leaving the water pump on would make it okay.
PS The ribs feel a lot better, I hope to get back to working on the car before Christmas |
Re: Pinks Slug Out
Art, you don't know me, but I've been following the successes of you and Steve Polhill thru the years, and I applaud both of your efforts 'oer the while! I'm glad that you're feeling better, and look forward to reading more about you two's (and all of us slower end Stocker racers) efforts in the coming season! I'm honored to have raced in Colorado with the likes of "Randy Hyman" (DF/S), and "The Hawk" Lane Weber (U-V/SA, plus Stan Kopejtka (EF/S), while I was getting my feet wet in stock eliminator racing with my '86 Chevy Cavalier Z24 (now DF/S) car---from the mid-90's forward. Now that I'm living in Az., I get to race with the likes of Angelo Phillips (M/SA), & Mark Yacavone (U/S & V/S).
Since there are so few of us fwd stocker racers nationwide (plus the slower end rwd racers as opposed to the other guys), I feel the need to support and cheer all of our efforts in the stock eliminator category. This "Pinks Slug Out" thing will help out BIG TIME, if it's able to happen? I certainly hope so!!! Gary Hampton |
