One of the really nice things about NHRA Stock Eliminator, is the friends that you meet along the way and the fact that they can be considered really GOOD people and sometimes even better than your actual family. The Benders are those type of people that I would consider as family from the first time I had the pleasure of meeting them, always with a kind word and Penny always with a big hug. It doesn’t get better than that. None of us get out of this deal alive, but it is really a shame that we lose some of the really good people so young. I’m going to miss Penny when I travel to Division 1, especially her laugh. As many have said, Penny is in a much better place and now she is pain free. God Bless Penny and Bob……

So sorry to hear this sad news. Penny just loved Stock Eliminator drag racing. In November 2021 at our annual Stock / Super Stock race at Mason Dixon Dragway Bob reached the final and when his win light came on you should have seen her reaction to the win. Just shear joy! We will all miss Penny!

This is such sad news, Penny was truly a fighter and inspiration. My sympathy to Bob and family. I'm going to miss her posts.

So sorry for your loss, Bob, Penny was the high-light of everyone's day, always cheerful , never had a bad word for anyone. Joe & I will miss her.
