This car is the "Leaded" car. It was burned and everthing that came from the factory was out of it So we had to add weight. First we ran an exhaust system with lead lined mufflers, got tossed with that then. After that Greg X made us get rid of that car. It went to Minnesota never had a problem there. We never had a problem with the new one .
Another little tidbit about that car was when S&W Dodge had it lettered the guy spelled it wrong we went to Gainesville as the Direct Connoction Dodge. And nobody noticed it LOL

PS our fuel pump was in the back seat suspended by the springs Right next to the spare hemi head. LOL

The late Mike Smith's 273 wagon at ATI Shoot Out at Atl.Smith beat both Bagwell cars and won the event.

Just had to give this thread a bump, it's great to see some of these old photo's of these Super Stock and Pro Stock's. I really liked seeing that old shot of the Mancini Hemi Dart.

Orginal builder was Dick Moreland who still has a hand in it with clayton. God Rest Mike, one heck of a Man.

this picture brings old times. The Music City Dodge challanger was owend by myself, Edd Ward and Clyde Brandon . If memory serves me right this picture was taken at the old Riverside raceway in Nashville , sometime early 70s. this was the finals in ss and the ss/f car in the other lane is my 440 dart that was Orman Crabb,s (old Cumberland Dodge car) that i bought from him a week after he won bristol IHRA race.

Edd Ward lives about a mile from me here in TN. and still bracket races some. OH! BUY THE WAY HE WON THAT DAY.

Mark sent me a copy of this picture along with a picture of Edd and myself in winners circle that day Oh boy that was long ago

I have the Harold Dutton 68 b 029 barracuda car now and someone (maby Mark not sure) sent me an old picture of it when Dutton drove it in 68 . Man that thing was crude red paint, black wheels and I think it had "DRAG HAG" on the qts. mabey someone can expand on this.

Can any of you mopar guys or pictures guys help me out. I'm looking for pictures for a very good friends of mine Rod Kister. He had a 1963 dodge wedge car that was blue and white in color and he ran division 5. He ran alot in the late 70's and early 80's before selling the car. I've been looking for pictures for a while and no luck yet. Rod Kister a.k.a. "Big Iron" use to run pontiac as well with the "Big Iron" name on them back in the 60's and 70's. He's will turn 71 this month and I really like to find some pictures of the old dodge to give him. If anybody can help me out I would greatly appreciate it.

Wayne, here's one I have from around '69 or '70 of the Barracuda. Yes it had "Drag Hag" on the rear quarters.
