Hey Larry

Did he catch you early and at what point?

Traveling 500 miles, fuel, entry fee and all other expenses to run a national event .... I don't think not showing up 1st round would show nhra anything, they could care less, but I see Biondo's opponent did not show up 1st round for a heads up ..

Re: "Live" from Norwalk

Hey Toby, Larry said to tell you, yeah, he got to go home early just like Lee Zane did that year.

Jr.: Brian did not catch Larry til about the 1000'.

Well we are back on the road again. Greg Hill called after we got beat and said that there is a combo race in Louisville tomorrow so we are going to stop by there on our way home.

I am still going to try and get these pictures on here. Gary Parker has a good one of Drooze, mandie and perrone.

Well we made it here to Louisville. They have a big test n tune here tonight. They are also running Outlaw Pro Mod.

Tomorrow for the combo race, the gates open at 11. Time trials at 2 and racing starts at 7. We haven't been here in a couple of years, so I'm looking forward to racing tomorrow.

Thanks to Greg Hill for letting us know about this race. Also he, Andrew and Alice came by and picked us up and took us to Bonnie & Clyde's for pizza. Probably some of the best pizza I have had. Thanks again, Greg.

I think I have a few more pictures that I will post.

Enjoy the combo, I hope you can get the 'Cuda tuned up. Wish we could be there to support the combo, but we have things that require our attention here.

Sorry Paul showed up in the dark.
Cooter, Gary Parker took that picture!
Well, I hope everyone is still having a great time at Norwalk and eating lots of that good ice cream. We had to go over and get us some before we left yesterday. And it was even better than last year.

Well we are in Louisville now. We are running the combo race tonight. I will start a new thread from here. Be watching next week for a special treat (or so I hope).

Patsy, we're anxiously awaiting your "Live on the road to Seattle" thread....beautiful country if you haven't been out this way before. Tell Chris hello from my son, Aaron; believe they went to college together.

Re: "Live" from Norwalk

Actually Paul had parked near the only tree around and was selling chair space in the shade. It was hot and muggy in the sun, so he was doing a good business. And if the breeze was blowing he was charging a bit more... Only problem was that the tree wasn't all that big, and we had to keep moving our chairs around to stay in the shade as the day moved along.

But anyway, the dark picture wasn't Gary's fault, Paul was in the shade when the pic was taken.

And Larry is right on about the ice cream... A pound of ice cream for a buck was definitely a real treat. And it was really good.

Larry and Patsy, Just wanted to say it was great meeting you. I had a great time at norwalk. Drooze, Mandy and His faher ( sorry do not know his name) are really nice people. A lot differant than on the net. Hope to see you all soon. Gary

Dinsdale: I think you are right about Mandie. Drooze is not too bad and may be a little mis-understood. No need to bash anyone. And Patsy speaking of good looking girls, Aubery and Reagan are just beautiful. The old guy next to them, well...

Thanks Mr. and Mrs. Hill for posting the pictures I love the one of Nick Reiter, that man has never changed. He and that '71 Charger have been around for years. We have worked on that car together from the time I was old enough to hold a wrench. I am so glad to see him doing something he loves and is good at. Thanks for adding to my memories!!

No doubt you are correct. Lot's of us old lechers around but hard to ignore a pretty girl. Especially one who puts up with all the tough times and set backs their team has gone through. A lesser person would have run away a long time ago. I hope they all do well in the future.

Indeed! It takes a special woman to go through the insane hard times....I know my mother has with my father and I appreciate what you just said. The fact she's hot with two T's makes all us heterosexual guys dream on cause we know those type girls are few and far in between....Congrats Drooze! Lol!

She is, and shes still on board, today I got "enough of this ****e, lets get to the racetrack, we need to be WORKING" .......

And shes single  Yes really......Her and I arent romantically involved so, beyond being friends, well.....hell Im busy trying to line up dates for the coming weeks since Ill be home :D And damm Mandie is a bit old for my tastes by about 3 years.... (ducks as mandie throws a piston from across the shop when she reads that):D:eek:

In as much as a Mandie Fan Club, Ill be the first member, I know what she has done with and for us. Few really know exactly how much.

To just have her as a friend and partner in crime is more than I could have asked for.
