Keep an eye on a new combo in Div 4. It will probably run as GT/DE, but would be a killer in GT/DA.

John is correct! both our engine's were on bischoff's dyno the same day. I convinced Phil to go there after he lost an engine at Bristol. My engine made more power on the dyno but u gotta hand it to Phil and Pete making that chassis work. Probably the most successful team in super stock. I made more power spent more money and the ole sly fox is going quicker. But he's my mentor and I'm glad:). I'm coming though, soon as I can get this 136 lbs off the car I got nailed with, that sucks!!! But that's another story....

BTW just talked with Phil yesterday and after over 60 run's all the bearing look brand new, he freshened the tranny but just put the engine back in as is. That's good workmanship for a 3.25 main journal and a 2.5 rod journal hittin 8000 rpm with a 75 lb crank!!! hat's off to Bischoff...Look out Jer!!! LOL

I'll say one thing Tony Bischoff and the guys at BES have show their stuff the last 3 years of the Jegs Engine Master challenge and it looks like it has rubbed off over in SS eliminator

We have a couple of good engine builders here in Pa. I'm sure in Stock & Super Stock they have more records, national events wins than other builders. Just a guess.

Who else is running a BES engine in Stock or SS? Tony has build our bracket motors for the last 10 years or so and he does a very good job. I know of a couple SS engines he has done but what about a Stocker?

Looks like people left out Jeff Taylor 9.486 137.76 Appears Biondo and Silveus had a good race. Think Silveus has anything for Taylor?

Re: The baddest GTDA in the country!

I will man UP and say Jeff Taylor had the Horsepower is year in GT/DA that car was fast. I thought it would have come down to Jerry and Peter but Jeff showed he is a bad man. I know Jeff back when we raced 25 yrs ago he was fast then. Great race by all!!! see ya all next year!! Jeff sold the car friday and the new owner will get it after Indy is over!:D
