Yes it is. It went from the Hardy's tp a man in Ky? who raced it some before he sold it to Myron. It had 2-4bbls and a stick SS/N. Myron still has everything to put it back in SS/N. Cool car with a lot of history.

Randy Huntsman and a partner bought the Hardy '56 and raced it in the Columbus, Ohio area before selling it to Myron. Randy told me a great story about going to California in a ramp truck and picking up the car.

Randy currently lives in Elijay, Georgia and has a H/SA '86 Camaro.

Still looking for the 1969 Rampage Camaro. Robby Hudlow and his ex-step-dads old car. If anyone knows where it went please chime in. Robby was kind enough to fill in some of the history.

P.S. condolences to you Robbie and family.

Thanks,
Mike

I have a photo but I can't seem to post it.

Hemitime--your were close--the skys the limit car is Kenny Shendlers old stocker and you are correct about Kentuckey--the 69 conv was a car owned or driven by Bobby Warren--I own both cars and was looking for some history on them-- does anyone have any pictures of the Krunchy Chicken conv --thanks--Emmett

Re: Where are these cars now?

Emmett, I drove the convertible a few times for Harold Bentley, who actually owned it. I won a race at Phenix City in it and a picture of the final was in a local drag paper which I still have somewhere, when I find it I will scan and send you a PM.

Is Randy running Butch Paine's older black car? You built that one correct?

I have a photo but I can't seem to post it.

Found some photos the other day of the 69 going through old photo albums and it looks the same as the picture posted we never changed anything. I will do some digging let me see what I can come up with. But I remember going and buying the car. the owners lived on the same road as Numedia if I remember correctly on the right hand side close to the track. Like I said before we were told this was a ZL1 originally and was owned by Bunny Burkett and ran in Pro Stock in the early 70's. But sometime in its life someone cut the dash out so there was no vin # on the dash and the firewall had been cut out replaced with aluminum and moved back. So no trim tag or vin # as I remember or it would be a ZL1 right now just not numbers matching but if it had those 2 things in place I would of restored it to original and put a correct date code drivetrain in it.

Wally had this built at FJ Smiths.
Sold it to Walt Kriel (from NJ?)
Joe bought it a few years ago after his GT truck burnt in a garage fire.

Neat stuff. Tom, do you know where my ex Joe Scott GT Camaro fits in this timeline?? See pics below of when I toyed with it back in 2002ish timeframe. I still have it, although she hasnt seen the light of day in years.. Tucked away in the trailer, while I tend to more responsible matters....

It was the Joe Scott lime green machine, that made the cover of SS&DI in 199__ something??

Would love to get the full history of her, and see some more pics of her back in the day..

Kevin

Re: Where are these cars now?

Oh yeah,,, I remember it. When that issue showed up in the mail box back in '77, I thought that was the coolest '55 I'd ever seen,,, and I was hanging out with a bunch of tri-five guys at that time and no one around here was doing tubs on street cars,,,yet.
I bought a '55 Bel-Air hardtop 10 years later, but didn't have the guts to cut it up, It still turned out okay,,,,even made the centerfold feature of the June '93 Popular Hot Rodding, so I guess that was my alloted 15 minutes of fame.
