This ^^^^^^^^^^ -----Rob , as far as hijacking the thread . This reaches a lot of racers watching the results and can be continued over on Barry's thread now that it has hopefully got people thinking. And after all Kenny is a Sportsman racer with a big stake in the health and continuation of our sport.

Ahh, but hang on till tomorrow and see legends racing Toyotas, carbon fiber Camaro Pro Stock, etc. Are we not entertained?

Thankfully we have Ken’s reports/pics and DRC still does National events in a crisp fashion. Would gladly pay subscription fees for Warren’s broadcasts on YouTube of all the Nationals but we know that’s not going to happen.

Good morning all, its been a little crazy this morning. We started 8am with Super Street followed by Stock. I grab a few shots while in the lanes, things are moving fast so I have little time to get back from my run and get Stock photos. I was able to get some good Super Stock photos and I will post later.

We had a little delay with a Top Dragster oil down, but we are back racing again. The weather this morning was in the low 70's and it was humid, we also had a head wind. The sun was brutal in the left lane as it always is when we run in the morning.

I will be back later when things settle down..... As I type this another Top Dragster oiled the track.... more delay.

Doesn't seem to be most were a bit slower than last weekend. The ones I raced against were slower. The air was pretty good last Thursday. The track was really good at the divisional.

Stock has been called to the lanes for first round. We did have some oil downs and they are cleaning another one as I type, but we are on schedule for the sportsman all getting a first round today.

Super Stock photos from today's qualifying. I will be able to get Stock tomorrow as I am out of competition. I will be here until Sunday, so you will be getting a steady dose of photos and info.

In post #87 you have a pic of a nice looking blonde (I assume that's what the picture is of!) and I notice the car # 505-something.... yet there is only a couple Div 5 cars in Stock... then I see there is a 2505 and a close look at the rear window shows a black "2".
So then that is Lindsey Brand? Nice to see all racers are not elderly men.

Also if I may request... how about pictures of the Swedes and Englishman, maybe a pit shot. That is an expensive trip to race and they seem to have really strong running cars.

I will try to get shots from the teams across the pond. My intentions were not photographing Lindsey, I was in the lanes with my car, grabbed my phone and took a few shots, she just happened to be in one.

Day 2 of eliminations starting with Super Street this morning, same rotation as yesterday, one more round for everyone. Another nice warm day, before the cold front comes in tomorrow. I will be back later with photos of second round Stock.

NHRA.TV is no better then it was last year. Yesterday on the first day of the Gators there was nothing not even a sound broadcast, Today there is a picture but no sound.Why cant there get it right?

I had sound for about 30 minutes after I paid now nothing.....


I can watch Speedvideo.com for free and it ALWAYS works and they actually have a mobile camera on the starting line.


This is very frustrating!!!

Same here in NJ. I thought it might be my PC since the picture was start/stopping too. After re-boot and seeing your post I wonder WHY can't this work like EVERY OTHER SERVICE at the other race broadcasts!

I rebooted, logged off, and everything else I could think of and nothing. They even had Lee Seebring announcing who does a great job!!!

And I overpaid you are suppose to get a credit back if you paid full price that never happens followed instructions but nothing and for terrible service.

It seems that NHRA continually has problems with many of their programs, track prep, electronic prep, website prep. Things should be tested before being rolled out. Very unorganized and lazy.

If you click on "Audio only" you will get sound but no picture.... WTF!!!

The first 3 photos were shot around 11:30, this place is jamming. The pro's were not even close to running and its only Friday. Here are a few shots from the Factory Stock Showdown qualifying. Randy Eakins is the number 1 qualifier at 7.81 he is the first photo of the Showdown cars.

I agree.

Why can't NHRA let Speed Video do the production ?

edit....I just remembered.
Speed Video does not charge viewers a fee
