Lettering on quarter panel says you are correct. Congrats on that ever so good call!

My bad,, Daryl, I was thinking the article on your Dart was in the Hemmings Muscle Machines magazine, but as we both know ( now me too!), its in the May issue of Musclecar Review. I get them both each month, plus numerous others, so I guess I got my plug wires crossed on that one,, thanks for setting me straight.

How many of todays Pro Stock drivers would fit this profile? Maybe WJ (who's pretty much parked) but few others.

Anybody see any jackstands in this photo? Just a reminder to be safe. 3 weeks ago my boss,a young dude, had his Audi station wagon fall and pin him underneath. He was able to let out 1 yell before he ran out of breath. His wife heard him and got the car jacked up enough to get him out,, but he still has 5 broken ribs and some staples in his scalp, and some swelling around his face. He also has a new respect for how to properly secure a vehicle before laying under it. Experience is the best teacher and yes, he was very lucky. Hes taken a lot of crap from all of us at work. I only see some stands, possibly, up front upon a second look.

I echo that Danny.
A bunch of years ago I needed to do just a "quick" job of hooking up the pipes to the collectors on my 70 hemicuda. No jack stands required since it was only a 5 minute job----or so I thought.
On my creeper, I connected the Drivers side, then without getting off it I rolled around the front to do the Passenger side. I went to pull myself under the car by grabbing the frame rail. This was enough to rock the car just enough to place a side load on the hydraulic jack 20 year old piston seal & it blew. The car came down like RIGHT NOW. It's a good thing I didn't have my head under it yet, only my shoulder & arm. The car nailed my shoulder hard enough to break the creeper wheel.
Leason learned---the hard way, but also the lucky way. A split second later, it woulda bounced off my head. Ever since then I never go under a car for even a quick job without jack stands.

Daryl: Did you make it to the Mopars in the Park Show last weekend? Does anyone have a report on the show. Thank you.

Are you going to Brainerd July long? How's that BIG Bowtie coming?? Is it getting oil back to the pan yet?

I have family visiting for the BIR Show-n-GO and will not make it, but I plan to be at the Muscle car Shoot out Labor Day.

The dyno had an issue with the blown bbc that was ahead of me on the dyno. He had to order the parts directly from DTS and it was not back up this week. We are close to heating the water!

Not one to ever compromise safety, I'm going to get one of those new folding cherry pickers.
